I hope you had a good weekend and did all the things you wanted to do. We just had a quiet time sorting out jobs in the house and garden, it is so nice to have the time to do these things. Our daughter and her fiancé have settled on their wedding venue and set a date for summer next year. So now the fun begins. If you check on my page dedicated to their wedding you can see where they have chosen.
I was asked by the vicar at our old church to make a thank you card for our good friends who are stepping down as Treasurer and Bookings Secretary respectively after three years of doing a very good job in both roles. The card was for both of them and I wanted to make them something special.
Everything I used in this card, the dies and the embossing folder, were designed by Sue Wilson she is such a talented lady.
I have had the Thank You die for a while and I haven't used it much obviously it was ideal for this card. I surrounded it with the Oslo die from the Scandinavian collection and right at the back is one of the dies from the Austrian collection. I would like to do that road trip.
This is the finishing touches Daisy Cluster.
I hope they like this card. It was quite hard making a card for a man and a woman to share, really the blue is a nod towards the man all the rest is quite feminine. They should have received this last night so it should be fine to blog it now.
Have a great week.
